You have to let it go when someone turns you down (especially if the turn-down is rude). We've met all sizes and types in this lifestyle. We tend to stick with those who are high on manners and personality, and low on insulting, malicious behavior. But blasting ALL HWP's isn't the way to go either. This lifestyle requires that you develop a thick skin and always remember, your spouse is the most important person in your life. The others? Well, they're dessert. S

It was chilly this morning, roasting this afternoon, and by Saturday the chill is heading this way again. My poor flowers don't know whether to bloom or hide. S

I'm just getting such a laugh over being told once that I don't exist, but the person keeps talking to me! roflmao Mrs 2, glad that the day ended up on the positive side. The "dessert first" line, regardless of how it was delivered, did not work. I got the "brit" look, then I was reminded that we were to be paying attention to not only the food, but the service, etc. We didn't actually have two full lunches, thank the Captive Gods. I had a salad at the first place, and soup at the second. Now watch, when he meets the prospective buyer's VP there tomorrow, the restaurant will be in shambles and the lunch will be a disaster! As long as we can get through the day tomorrow, I'll be satisfied. And I'll also know whether I'll be working for H**C or in real estate before the end of the year! S

I avoid the open forums like many others do these since they are so negative and I don't need the DRAMA. Someday Techie and Webbie will wake up and notice that many have left the open forums due to all the tiresome BS. It's the same people declaring their undying admiration for each other, as they continue to push their opinions down everyone's throat. If you don't agree with them, you are wrong and attacked. What a crock! Just look at who was doing all the name calling and that tales the tell. No wonder they have to stick together. LMACUAO! Since I rarely have time for the forums these days, I've get the impression of changes in some of them after they all met in person. Maybe it is because I am not reading as much on here, or maybe they really did not like what they met and trying to cover it up??? laughs Just my thoughts....... I actually read the pics thread today and see nothing has changed. IMO, more power to those who have such a great need to be worshipped. EYES WIDE OPEN! Take a look at the number of people posting and the low post count each day in the Open Forums (except of course when collectives all "must" reply to any comment made by a handful of posters, regardless of the content). Mrs 2, ignore them, but in the meantime, do you really think the "dessert first" line will work? I'd try it, except that he always gives me that "arrogant Brit" look instead of an answer. S

He says he sees nothing at all wrong with checking out two restaurants on one day (this is starting to sound like buying the dress before buying the shoes. ARGH!). He doesn't understand why I think he's crazy right now. But you see, the check is going to make all of this look a lot differently! lol S
