Gina- Very Smart , my grandmother died of a stomach anyerism at 55, And one of my aunts died @ the same age suddenly , (She was relatively healthy except for slight high bloodpressure). Her Asshat of a husband refused an autopsy since She had been treated for the BP, the Dr's claimed it may have been a hear attack, so he felt why bother with it . They had a daughter and 2 sons , who weren't aware of the family history Until after the father had passed 2 years ago.

My aunt had another sister treated For potenital issues that the mother had.

Love you people in here!

MRI done this morning to determine if I have the propensity for brain aneurysm. My birth mother (I never met her) died of one when she was 52, and I'm coming up on that age. So...

Me, too, though I've developed the habit of forcing myself to think about 'only' the purpose of my trip from one room to the next. Doesn't always work, but it helps! And then, of course, there's the recent research study that concluded there is a reason we forget:

"Why would we have a memory system set up to forget things as soon as we finish one thing and move on to another? Because we can’t keep everything ready-to-hand, and most of the time the system functions beautifully." (from Scientific American online)

It's still frustrating, regardless of the reason!
