You can not spot reduce through conventional dieting and exercise regime. Unless you are willing to go under the knife. In my experience, it will shrink if you improve your nutritional intake and continue to exercise without falling into a routine. In other words, when it comes to exercising, you have to challenge yourself by increasing, changing up the workout routine. Increasing weight, increasing reps, intensifying cardio.

Kind-Really, don't weigh yourself everyday. We go up and down every day. What I remember is going by how your clothes feel on you. It's crazy, on the days I exercise the most, the next day I've gone up a pound. I just wish I could get rid of my fat knees and the c-section belly! Anybody know what to do about that?

I know Sweet, I don't want to depend on just the scale for progress. But it is nice to see it go down. I actually have eaten so light this week, I feel lighter, and am appreciating it for what it's worth.

oh I'm not sore yet, won't that come some time tomorrow? My legs were like jello for hours tho. I was very surprised I completed all the sets. The burn during, was far beyond anything I would have allowed if I were alone! :-0
...which is why I need a PT.

Kind. also don't let your weight be you main standard of how your doing.
Like sed, said earlier you will lose weight fast at first, ( water weight) you will also start building muscle, remember muscle weighs more than fat. You could even put on weight as you build muscle.
You'll know how well your doing by the way you feel and by how your clothes fit.

KD, your soreness from this AM training session is gone now?

I would not recommend weighing yourself every morning, that's another thing that will eventually fail you.

I always recommend once a week.

Lol @ KD! I hear ya about that water thing. But as of 4 pm CDT, I am at 10 cups of water, and will probably have more! What the hell is wrong with me today? Lol. I am constantly in the bathroom too. But water is what EVERY eating program says, so there must be something about it... It does fill you up for a little while, if you really drink that much. If only I could really stick to this much water daily... But hey, today is the first day! And I am feeling great, so something good is happening!

Today marks 9 full weeks of being smoke free! Yay for me!
