I've been asked a few times to be the "boyfriend" for the female half of a couple and I ponder the invitation each time it's presented to me...but I've yet to accept. Reason being: I'm single for a reason, ie. I thoroughly enjoy the freedom and variety that being single allows me, and I just don't foresee the benefits of being a married woman's regular boyfriend outweighing the drawbacks.

GinaNichole you sound like us. Its the most fun we ever had and hope it never ends. Sure its not for the weak at heart but it works well for us. You have to have a open mind trust and leave the jealousy at the door for this to work. I want my wife to have whoever she wants with no regrets. She isn't into the woman woman thing (her choice) and has her own reasons for that. But like I said its a lot of fun. I think if more couples would try it they would like it to.

From the Mrs. point of view. I would never want or need a boyfriend, just as he would never want or need a girlfriend. We have to much fun, when we are involved next to each other, and even more fun with each other later when we are alone. We have agreed that people only get his cell number and that is only after we meet.

It's a touchy situation with wife-boyfriends. Some of them only feel confident when they are in control of the situation, and that means without you there. Some will try to seize control while you are there, in the hope that you like that kind of submissive role. Then you have to decide how much control to cede. During all this, the wife may thrive on the power struggle, or she may shrink from it. Hopefully, all will be civil, and even hope to evolve. |

I was the boyfriend for two years. The husband and I got along great, often playing golf and watching games together. Everything went smoothly until she got a very jealous girlfriend....lol.
