If the people aren't smart enough to know they shouldn't contact you, I doubt they would understand what you were trying to tell them.

Having spent many years in the computer graphics industry, it is amazing how many customers are very rude. Those customers are always a challange and I always was able to bring them around to my level. Although I hardly ever contact couples and wait for them to contact me, I have had to say No Thank You to several that turned out to get nasty because i did so. But, after a few back and forth emails they seemed to understand why I refused them at that time. I always left them with a sense that they could contact me again if their preferances changed and could act as adults.

BikerGirl … “No Thanks” is the perfect response to someone who is being rude to you. “No Thanks” invites the other party to come up to your level; it’s not necessary for anyone to stoop to their lower level. I think a lot of people in this forum appreciate your comment. At least I sure do.

Joey....I think most couples (and some singles) can identify with your frustration. As tempting as it is, We believe the better way is to simply just say, "No Thanks".

I live in New Jersey. If you want to see real rudeness, just come here and drive around the block a couple of times. The rudeness on SLS is kid’s stuff. If someone’s being rude to you on SLS, just hit the delete key. SLS is supposed to be fun.

I like this. I was ranting about these same simpleminded self important jerks just the other day. I just wish they read the forums. But you are right. It isn't them. Respect peoples wishes. Please.

"Opening up the inbox and there are 44 messages right now."
JOEY- I had a couples profile with my girlfriend until she got sick of the BS and told me to delete it. We had some fun with the messages from single males wanting to "hook up"...on a hunch, we invited several to meet with me to talk about fucking her...not a single one ever showed. I always made a habit of writing back to them and suggesting that they join a dating site, since they obviously were not swingers. |
