"Civilization depends largely on people being civil.:

Truer words have never been spoken. Unfortunately, that's becoming more rare by the day. Just look at the forum posts for example. You'd think home training was obsolete. LOL

There's never an excuse to be rude. If someone sends you a rude email, or disrespects you for any reason, take the high road. Simply responds "Thanks for yourinterest, but we are not interested at this time." Civilization depends largely on people being civil.

You can't convince a rude person that they're rude most of the time. Whether its a personality disorder, character defect, or just plain lack of home training, its ok in their mind, and there is little chance of influencing their paradigm. I'm sure a lot of us have greeted a person with a polite hello, only to be ignored, 'mean mugged', or some equally dismissive gesture. That only makes the classy people look better.

If the people aren't smart enough to know they shouldn't contact you, I doubt they would understand what you were trying to tell them.
