Almost everyone I know on SLS uses a city or town that is “near” where they actually live as their home town. SLS even allows members to change their location to suit where they may be traveling to in order to link up with local members in that other location. If someone considers that to be a lie or makes it a major issue, they may be using it as an excuse for some other reason to terminate the relationship. Or am I missing something here?

oh oh...We are liars then. We live just outside of Louisville "Metro" which Louisville Metro is what they came up with to make Louisville bigger lol. We do use Louisville as our mailing address though.

Pretty much covers the OP. Some have suggested hubby got cold feet but whenever either party feels something is amiss, it is always best to abort.

A couple meets a SM on-line, clicks, and over the course an in-person get together, just as things are continuing to click, hubby realizes that the guy had lied about where he lived - not as close as he claimed, hubby calls foul and ends the meet.
