We're one of those couples that wants to meet for a drink in public first and then decide if we all click. If we get to the point we are meeting at all, we have already likely decided we are going to play. But in the past, meeting in too intimate of a setting, we have encountered guys who are not who they say they are online. Or when we meet in person, the connection is not there. For that reason we tell guys who are a distance away that we;re not interested. If I were playing as a serious single guy, I wouldnt want to drive 3 hours to meet at a bar, not be sure they will show, and then, not be sure that something is going to happen. Sorry. Im not driving that far to have a beer and get a "lets set something up for in a couple weeks" So we avoid that altogether. Yet guys keep pushing and pushing. And we have met guys from far away who we just werent feeling and at that point didnt feel bad that they drove 200 miles for a beer. I feel for some single guys lately too. For some reason, this was never a problem in the past, we have been getting flooded with "couples" that are just single men. Profiles that say theyre a couple, have 20 pics of her, and none of him. Yet they either "broke up recently" or he wants to try bi activity without her knowing. Or the famous "Im trying to talk her into it" So we'll spend a day talking to someone we think is a couple only to have that sprung on us. We want single guys. Thats our main focus here. So if youre a single guy make a single profile. Messaging us from a couple profile just says youre a liar upfront and is an instant NO. Sorry to hear youre having those troubles since you seem to be an exception to most guys here.

He is trying to get a feel for me before I talk to his wife that's fine. But I don't like it when they ask if I'm bi or at least willing. My profile says straight for a reason.

User Details are only visible to members.	Friday, the couple I was to see couldn't get the grandparents to babysit so I was free last minute and posted an Agony Ad (Hot Dates). A guy I'd spoken to before yahoos me responding to the ad. He's at a bar in Howell 5 minutes from me with his wife. Come hit on her and take her home if successful. Do NOT tell her he arranged it. I get these requests often and normally ignore them. But as it was not yet 7pm and they were so close, I bit. I arrive, we eyeball each other, he vacates his barstool leaving his wife. I sidled up, ordered a coke and offered "That's a lucky guy!" And things seem to flow swimmingly from there, but as my questions became more probing she bolted exclaiming, "OMG, OMG did he put you up to this? He found out I dated a black guy in college 20 years ago and he won't let it go!" She said this loudly enough and had tears welling in her eyes such that the woman next to her began asking if she were okay. I was the only black guy in the bar and I had come directly to her so it was obviously not happenstance. I said, "I am sorry. I did not know the circumstance." and left - the husband nowhere in sight. Pourquoi? Pourquoi?

I was so foolish as to repine, yea to actually complain of brainaddled newbies fantasizing about having their swing lifestyle virgin blonde wives bred by a black man as their introduction to swinging. One success: the Götterdämmerung of my precept! That palpable fear, those pale trembling lips sugueing to passion, to the excitement of utter wrongdoing! An experience sublime! Twas I the madman for eschewing thus! Mon Dieu!
