if my step daughter hold true to her time table then Troopers first grandchild will be born when he is about to turn 60 and me late 40's. our girls? even if our youngest had a child at 25 I'd be almost 60 and Trooper in his 70's.

Our oldest is 12 and Mr. Cincy hits 40 in a few weeks so we won't be under 40 grandparents. My mama was 44 when our oldest was born making her the same age as the parents of many of our kiddos' friends. I loved having young parents and hope that my kids don't think I'm elderly quite yet.

no grandbabies in our near future either our kids are just 10 and 8....Troopers daughter is 30 and married but she isn't planning on any for at least a few more years.

You ladies with teenagers have faith, teenagers eventually will provide you a prime opportunity for some payback or at least to be grateful that you survived those teen years with your sanity and did not suffocate the darlings in their sleep.........grandbabies to love, adore and spoil absolutely rotten as I am doing as often as I can with my 3 little ones:) I am just grateful that mine do not live as far away as Mrs. Sav's does.

You're on your own with the teenager. We've got 3 adults, 1 teen and one more about to be a teen, and we *STILL* have issues getting them to understand the nuances of life. Sometimes, I think humans are just designed to learn the hard way. |

Having been out of town for the last month I didn't read the "before" profile but I'm really wondering why if you are so concerned with exposure in your small community you do not hide your faces in the public area? Not my business for sure but it seems rather odd to me and a complete conflict of your statements and issues meeting others. Private galleries can hold face photos for those you express interest in. I personally would be far more concerned with someone outing me based on my photo if I truly felt exposure in my small town would create conflict.
