Being a homemaker I am very isolated at times. If I don't run errands or something my hubby is the only adult I may talk to for days. I love my hubby and love talking with him but when he is the only adult contact I get, it really gets on my nerves. I wish I could have some friends but I swear this city is the most unfriendly I have ever lived in. Also the one with the most drama.

Agreed. Solitude can be grand but it can also be terribly isolating. Mr. C is one who requires solitude. Work provides some of that for him but he also likes to know that someone is out there for him.
