NJWIZARD-----we agree with you as our first posting stated. THose that are interested can only know if they like or dislike a club by attending. THere is something we like and dislike about all clubs....we know they can not please us all in every aspect of what we think a club should be. So for those that have not attended you should go and see for yourselves. Have fun. Carla & Joe

Though we have been to a number of different clubs, we have always returned to CKS. We have been going to the Philly location for over 2 years and now prefer to go to the Bethlehem location since it is much closer to home.

If one prefers private rooms, yes, there are semi-private rooms, however, this has never bothered us since we usually enjoy ourselves in the open play area either alone or with whomever we are with.

We also feel safe, since the staff is always nearby keeping an eye on things (which I can’t say about the other clubs we have been). There are also no cliques (which seem to bother a lot of people) since the club just opened.

We have found the food very tasty and freshly prepared and after a work-out in the playroom enjoy eating scrambled eggs for breakfast before leaving CKS.

So, soundsgoodtous, stop in and say “hi” on Saturday.

Jetty have to agree with you. Very nice establishment, lot's of potential. We don't mind iffy food many times we don't eat club food, we eat club attenders. But you hiy the nail on the head, we are not into the open mat room. As far as TJ's great place, don't think they could do a TJ's thing there but son clean and sexy private rooms would make it.

The facility is nice, as previously described, except for inadequate ladies room facilities. The music was loud enough for you to know that you're at a club, but not too loud that you couldn't carry on a conversation. As long as you like "oldie" club music, you should have no beef.

We have been there twice and if we had any advice to offer it would be to arrange meeting people there. We realize that crowds will differ from week to week, so take this part with a small grain of salt. The majority of people there the last time we went, if they played at all, stuck to their own spouse. The rest gaped into the open play area as though they were at the Philadelphia Zoo. The few couples that actually played in the open area should have gotten a partial refund for providing entertainment for everyone else. If that's not a problem for you, then you'll be fine. Otherwise, you'll feel the need for some private rooms. We don't mind open play, but we also like having the option of a more intimate environment. They have a ton of space, so they should use some of it in this capacity. We think that more people would have played if there were options other than ones that cater to voyeurs and exhibitionists. The lack of private play areas make beginners visiting a club for the first time more apprehensive than necessary.

The food was nothing to write home about, but that's not a big priority for us when visiting a swing club. They had dinner and a breakfast buffet towards the end of the night, which we thought to be a nice touch.

Would we go there again? Yes, we would. This is a place within a short driving distance that has potential, provided management listens to member feedback, (frequent-visitor discounts would be nice, as well...loyalty should beget loyalty).

Bottom line...it's a good start, but management needs to tweak one or two things. If they want to use an existing place as a model, they should look at TJ's. What may work in Philly may not be as successful further north.

Don’t take anyone’s word for it, though. Pay the place a visit and form your own opinion. Everyone has their own personal likes and dislikes…you really need to see for yourselves if it’s for you or not.

The new CKS is nicely done, considering what they had to start out with! The only flaw we would have to speak of is that there is not enough private playrooms, which we have been told are a work in progress, along with a few other little tidbits to make the environment more play friendly! Really looking forward to it too!! The price does need to adjust a bit until they can pick up the clientel, but other then that, we really enjoyed ourselves, and looking forward to attending their New Year's Eve Bash!!

Just our 2 cents worth! Tara & Rick

We LOVE this club. It is a work in progress, as the owners specify. The club is clean and the staff is great. We were surprised to see how many people we knew all 3 times we were there. At this time there are no private play rooms...semi private available and a great open area down stairs with leather furniture and a windowed open play area. The buffet is very well put together...with quality food and the stage is great for those that like the 2 poles to dance on. A large dance floorand leather furniture all around to sit on and talk to others. But like we tell everyone else...all clubs have there own personalities and you gotta see for yourself. Carla & Joe

We had fun there last weekend. The place is clean, food is crap but that isn't what you go there for. There is the main ballroom, kind of reminds you of a high school gym with stage that has two poles on it. There is a bar where your bottle is poured by two very nice bar maids. The room is huge, unfortunately it seemed empty. Not too many danced, except us. Downstairs there is a lounge with comfortable seating and another bar that wasn't opened. Behind a glass wall is a huge playroom lined with mattresses with a mirror wall beyond that. There are a couple semi private rooms on both ends, only big enough to fit two mattresses. We enjoyed ourselves because we brought our own party. We knew about 6 couples. I think it will be better when more people start going. Mike & Kathy
