I signed up for your party and I have heard some great things about Enchantments so my date and I are very excited...my question is: how soon before the event to you let guests know about hotel rooms. We'd like to stay the night and continue the party :) Cassie

User Details are only visible to members.	I just happened to find this forum and read it and was shocked at what I saw! As a fellow 'host', I am going to put my two cents in. People, you have no CLUE what it takes to host a party. Whether it's a party of ten couples or a party of 100 couples the 'return' the host gets after expenses certainly is NOT a fortune and MIGHT feed a family of four for a night out at a local restaurant. And if it's more, it only pays for all the times you didn't make anything at the previous parties. The amount of work involved in getting the room, the food, the DJ and all the other stuff you don't see on the surface is exhausting. Not only that, the amount of emails you answer on a daily basis for upwards of two months in advance and the calls the whole week of the party, let alone the babysitting that has to be done before, during and after the parties is CRAZY. Most hosts do not even get to enjoy their own parties and end up going to someone else's party just to be able to let their hair down. $60 is NOT expensive for New Years Eve. And even if it was, if you can't afford it or can't justify spending that money for what you 'get', then don't go. If you have a beef with the hosts or the event, take it to a private forum. To throw it out in such a public setting is tacky and disrespectful and even though they won't, it would be awesome if you were charged a $20 surcharge at the next party (just because they can!) :) Glad you had a good party ~ hope you had some fun ~ and Happy New Year to you all!! User Details are only visible to members.	Thank you K for your reply. Some people don't realize what goes into a club event vs a house party. We try to offer a relax environment where like minded people can meet and get to know each other. However we do incur some expense along the way. We would love to have someone come forward and offer their services free of charge but that has not happened. If you know of anyone that has a large banquet room or would like to DJ for free we would be happy to speak to them. So until then, we have to pay for the banquet room, the DJ and the playrooms. We also offer many door prizes and free shots and bring in pizza later in the evening all of which costs money. We do our best to keep the price down to a minimum and many times we do loose money. Most of our parties are $40 dollars. This being NYE we decided to offer a hot buffet and midnight toast so we had to add a little to the price. To add to what the other post said. we do not control the price of the hotel. They do offer our group a discount off the regular rate but they set the price.

I know going to a non-swinger event NYE party cost my husband and I $75 a piece and that wasn't even including hotel, or anything else. With the cost of hotels, they set those prices and many people do not get a room. There is cost associated with parties, meals, two playrooms etc... The playrooms are rare for many clubs. Yes there are those out there that have them but they are more private selected parties and not open to the public. At this point, this club might just not be the right fit for you. I know the owners work very hard to ensure their events are safe, fun and provide the most for your buck. Best wishes and Happy New Year.

User Details are only visible to members.	ok $60.00 for dinner and $70.00 for motel room that $130.00 plus gas so you paying $150.00 for the night . that buy a lot of food for your table. we host parties and it only cost what ever you bring too drink and you stay for nothing. that include you get what you want, instead of watching drunk people and get nothing. or a 15 mim fuck.....you must have money to throw away,then send it here we use it for good cause. there a lot of hungry people in the usa and you throw money away. why don't you due and new year and put that money in a fund and help people that don't have any food on their table.due the right thing!!!!! you can have people over and have fun,and it dosen't cost $150.either!!!!!!

User Details are only visible to members.	The parties are normally $40 for a couple, which is just a touch higher than what it was at the original location. The new location is much better suited for the large parties that Enchantments has grown into, which is a wonderful thing. For an additional $20 tonight, you get a buffet dinner for two, plus a champagne toast. For $20, you could get a buffet dinner at Ponderosa. Or the nearby casino has a buffet dinner for almost $20 per person. The increase in size has also brought on the need for an additional play room, bringing the number of open rooms for those that are interested, to two. We also have a DJ, which was not part of the package at the old location. I'm personally happy to pay $60 for a night out on New Year's Eve with a group of friends, when dinner alone on a special night like this would easily cost $100 or more.

User Details are only visible to members.	ok then how come the rase in couples then... 30.00 extra is a lot.. what it cost for a party hat and things about $4.00 because they get a lot price and the tost at new year it be about $1.50 thats no where near $30.00. they paid for hall the same price as any other party.......

I'm sure they pay for the halll, dj, playrooms. shots, the awesome giveaway baskets, etc... and in addition to all that. They have a full menu on New Year's even including a midnight toast. For us it's a pretty cheap night out for a new year's eve party. Hope you still come and have a great time.

BUT $60.00 is a lot of money for 5 hrs. and have to pay for drinks also..... where this money going? sound like it going in your pocket....... need to take the money and give a open bar for that price...... people only spend about $40.00 or less at the bar........and still have a good time...... we didn't see anything in returned with the last party....only pizza and wasn't enought for everyone......
