We attended Tabu blackout party on 10/10/08, to be new to the lifestyle the club was very relaxing. When we got there the staff was very pleasely nice and the one given to tour made us feel right at home from the start. the DJ placed music to fit every one in the crowd. I look forward to attending again, I think this is a new begining of a new lifestyle.

Tabu is probably the youngest crowd of all the local LS clubs....probably explains the not so main stream music. If you like to dance like we do, probably not for you. The dj plays what he wants to hear and if you request something, he purposely puts a message on his little electronic sign that he didn't choose the song. We use to love it there but it appears they're looking for a different crowd now. Having said that, you should still go and see for yourself.

Freakness last year was a really KINKY party.
There is a contest to see who is the Freakiest. There were some very interesting presentations. If you like the bizarre, freakness should suffice. Mischief..feel free to contact me for more info. |

We have been invited to join some friends of ours at Tabu on May 19, which has an event listing of "the Freakness" for that night. We were wondering if anyone can tell us what kind of event "the Freakness" is? The name sounds interesting, but website does not go into any details...

Tabu is a much better deal than STARZ of DC. The only thing Tabu could learn from STARZ is the music selection. The music at STARZ appealed to a wide range of folks. Tabu seems stuck on one type of music. If you don't like it...you are out of luck. I don't like the music at Tabu. Variety is the key.

We really enjoy the people and the atmosphere at tabu but have to admit that the price is a bit high. We would love to attend more often but you pay $60.00 bucks to get in plus you have to bring your own drinks, and it's not like they serving food or having any door prizes or anything like that so what exactly are you paying for? To socialize? Alot of couples we chat with from SLS wont come out to tabu to meet us because they can't afford it on a regular basis like we can. But overall it's a cool place if you are willing to spend the money.

Went to Tabu last night. There were a ton of people there.
Seems the powers that be couldn't shut it down. There was security and NO problems with being outed etc. It's OK to come and have fun. We did. Mischief |
